Project Description
This kitchen was built in the 1970s, and it shows. But the cabinets were all high quality custom built out of walnut; it would be a waste to trash them. We disassembled the cabinets and modified them to fit today’s modern appliances. The double oven cabinet was stretched six inches. We installed a microwave oven drawer, bigger induction cook top, and copper farmhouse sink. Finally we removed the old refrigerator and installed a $12,000.00 six-foot long sub-zero refrigerator/ freezer. The fluorescent lights in the soffits were removed, the hood was raised, and the cabinets were re-finished in place. Tile floor, and backsplash with quartz tops finish things off.
